The Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, David Keane, is currently seeking to appoint a Chief of Staff to his team to assist in the delivery of his Police and Crime Plan over the next four years. This appointment will be on a permanent contract.

Working for the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) based in Stockton Heath, you will have the leadership qualities to work with the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) and Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner (DPCC) to ensure the delivery of the vision, strategy and priorities of this Police & Crime Plan. As a force the Cheshire Constabulary is high performing with ambition to deliver the best services to the communities of Cheshire.

The successful candidate will be the lead member of the PCC senior management team, undertaking the role of the Chief Executive Officer and monitoring officer. You will be an enthusiastic and assertive professional with a high level of communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to operate at a strategic level.

As well as offering a competitive salary (£75,591 - £80,688), the successful candidate will also receive 31 days annual leave plus bank holidays and the option of a pension.
