CHESHIRE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER SOUGHT YOUR VIEWS AT THE ROYAL CHESHIRE COUNTY SHOW

Posted on Tuesday 28th June

Cheshire’s Police & Crime Commissioner, David Keane, was at Cheshire Show on 21st June finding out what you really think about policing in the county.

Armed with your views, David Keane will develop a Police and Crime Plan for Cheshire which set out the future of policing in the county for the next four years.

The Commissioner’s ‘Join the Conversation’ consultation was at Cheshire Show for both days of the event, forming part of a six-week consultation where the Commissioner is listening to what you think should be a priority for policing in Cheshire.

David Keane said: “It was really interesting to hear what people attending the show thought about policing in the county.

“A lot of people said they wanted more officers out on the beat, while others were keen to see a crackdown on anti-social behaviour and rural crime.

“Your thoughts and ideas are crucial in helping me build on my vision of future policing for the next four years and I will be taking these suggestions on board to make sure the Constabulary delivers policing you really want.”

If you’re attending shows and events across the county over the coming months , make sure you get involved in the consultation and take the time to join the conversation on policing.

The consultation started on 14th June in Chester and continues across the county until 26th July 2016.
